With the beginning of this year’s nautical season, Adria Luxury Boats d.o.o., based in Ičići, is launching an action as part of their Corporate Social Responsibility program through which they will support the activities and programs of the Blue World Institute from Veli Lošinj who, with their work, research, education and protection, are selflessly making great strides in raising public awareness of the importance of protecting marine ecosystems and resources.

They are an independent and non-profit organization that was established with the aim of carrying out scientific research and marine environment protection activities as well as public education with an emphasis on the Adriatic Sea and the wider Mediterranean region.

Their three programs – research, education and protection – provide a framework for the implementation of diverse projects aimed at improving knowledge about important species and the marine environment they inhabit.

In order to support their work, the company Adria Luxury Boats d.o.o., at the end of the season, will present the Blue World Institute with a monetary donation collected during this season. Although the Institute’s field of activity is wide and admirable, what Adria Luxury Boats d.o.o. especially to support the protection and raising awareness of our bottlenose dolphins that live in our Adriatic.

Through his action, they will educate their clients about the rules of behavior when watching dolphins, point out the importance of protecting and preserving the sea, and by their example we encourage our dear clients to donate to the Blue World Institute.

In this way, we invite other colleagues, associates who are engaged in renting boats that sail our Adriatic every day, to also support the Institute with their donation.

We all love to watch dolphins, so let’s do it with the least possible impact on their environment and their behavior.
